Geodes (Large, Break Your Own) Druzy Quartz 2-3" by the lb.
B.Y.O.G.! If you have never broken a geode you are in for a treat. You could say these gifts are already wrapped.
Larger Geodes are more likely to have a larger variety of crystal shapes and sizes; more room means more crystals!
Here are some terms for crystal patterns:
Druzy: Small consistent sized crystals with a glitter-like appearance.
Snowball Quartz: Small crystals that cluster on top of themselves, typically the crystals are so fine they appear like fresh snow.
Cactus/ Spirit Quartz:Small outward facing crystals growing around a taller longer crystal, with a faceted top point.
The Break-Your-Own-Geodes are unbroken quartz geodes! We suggest placing the geode in a pillow case (not one you plan to use again!) to keep all the pieces together. Personally, we've had the best luck swinging (gently) the pillow case over the shoulder to hit on pavement/concrete. Geodes can shatter if hit too hard, depending on their thickness. If that fails use a hammer with the geode on the pavement. Be sure to use goggles in case of debris!
**Each Geode is roughly 2-3" in diameter and 2-3 geodes make up a single pound.
